An Afternoon of Russian Music at Heinz Memorial Chapel

The Russian Balalaika Orchestra of Pittsburgh is pleased to invite you to a free concert of the Heinz Chapel Music Series at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 2 on the University of Pittsburgh Oakland campus.

Under the direction of Charley Rappaport, the Balalaika Orchestra will perform Russian classical and folk music on authentic Russian balalaikas, domras, bayan and wind instruments.

We invite you to come to this special event and share in the musical tradition of the balalaika orchestra.
